Principal Consultant

I’m Emily Fasnacht, MPA, founder and principal consultant of Donut Consulting. I bring more than a decade of experience across government and nonprofit organizations, with a background spanning grants and fundraising, strategy, program analysis, stakeholder engagement, and organizational operations.

I started Donut Consulting to bring those disciplines together, helping mission-driven organizations turn complex challenges into practical plans, persuasive proposals, useful analysis, and clear communication. As a principal-led firm, clients work directly with me throughout their projects.

Why Donut? Fasnacht is the name of a traditional doughnut, and a notoriously difficult surname to pronounce. Donut Consulting seemed like the more memorable option.
